NewsAcademy Schedule 2010 The Carrier Ethernet Academy announces its schedule of classes for 2010. In addition to the classes offered on our Silicon Valley Campus, the Academy will be scheduling courses conveniently located with MEF quarterly meetings and industry trade conferences.

The Instructor
J. Craig Easley Craig Easley has been a long-term contributor to the Metro Ethernet Forum, currently serving on its Board of Directors for a sixth term and as the Co-Chair of the Marketing Committee. Over the past ten years, Craig has contributed significantly to the development Carrier Ethernet through his involvement with the IEEE and the Metro Ethernet Forum. He was the President of the Ethernet in the First Mile Alliance and led the MEF Access Initiative. Craig has 17 years of experience in the information technology and telecommunications industries with such notable companies as Nortel Networks and Extreme Networks. He currently has held the various executive position with leading computer network companies including: Bay Networks, Extreme Networks, Network General and Nortel Networks. Craig also has years of class room training experience formerly running Network General’s “Sniffer University”. He earned a Masters of Science degree is Computer Science from the University of Maryland. His creativity and enthusiasm keep the class room atmosphere lively and his experience provides the students with unique incite into how Carrier Ethernet is evolving with real world examples of Carrier Ethernet deployments around the globe
